Computer Infotech is a business enterprise of JW Phoenix, a partnership owned and operated by husband and wife team, Joseph J. and Julie M. Watkins of Palmyra, Maine. Joe got started in website design when a co-worker asked him about designing a website for his Maine Guide Service. Joe created the website and got it listed in the search engines. The co-worker was very pleased and he told a friend of his about Joe's work. Julie started studying website design and the two of them decided to offer website design services to the general public. They founded Computer Infotech in 1999.
Professional Experience
Joe and Julie are self-taught website designers. They study and research continuously to stay abreast of the latest technological advances to enhance and support their customers' online exposure. They are experienced in HTML, CSS, PHP, Java, e-Commerce and many computer programs. Unlike many website design companies, at Computer Infotech, SEO (search engine optimization) is incorporated into the design of the website. For several years, Julie has been a member of the International Webmasters Association.
About The Owners
Joe and Julie have a son and a daughter, both grown. They also have two dogs and two fish. When they aren't working on their computers, they enjoy walking and hiking with the dogs, taking drives around the state of Maine, and relaxing at their home in Palmyra, Maine, 5 miles from Newport, the crossroads of Maine. Their house is located on a quiet lane about 1.5 miles from busy Route 2. They enjoy living in a small, rural town in Maine.
